"My Pit Bull Mina has suffered from food allergies most of her life. The allergies are so severe that she’s been admitted to the emergency hospital multiple times for internal bleeding. She has been on every diet under the sun – low-grade kibble, super premium kibble, single-ingredient, raw meat, home-cooked meat-based, and even a home-made vegan diet. With allergies to certain animal products and common grains, it’s been difficult finding the perfect diet. I tried V-dog after I learned they didn’t use wheat, gluten, corn, or soy (she’s allergic to wheat & soy). After a few weeks on V-dog, Mina’s health improved. She had normal poop, her muscle tone improved, and she is truly enjoying her food where before she would barely eat. She’s nearly 15 and I can thank V-dog for helping keep her young at heart." - Marji Beach

"Wally and Juliette were both adopted from an SPCA and they absolutely love their v-dog kibble and breathbones! They have been on v-dog since 2011 and are very healthy and get excellent vet check-ups. I love the fact that v-dog is an all vegan company - vegan owned and operated! No animals need to be harmed for my kids to live, to thrive, to be very healthy and happy. V-dog greatly reduces the impact on the environment - I love it that all v-dog bags are 100% compostable! There is no better choice for my little guys for their health, for the health of all animals and for the environment than v-dog! Thank you v-dog!" - Ryan Moore

Veterinarian Approved

Dogs can be healthy and in fact, thrive on a vegetarian or vegan diet, as long as all necessary nutrient requirements are met. Dogs are biologically omnivorous, but can adapt well to a plant-based diet which meets all their nutritional needs. It's important that the food be digested easily as well as have good palatability. One of the most common ailments in dogs is skin allergies, which may sometimes be due to food allergy. Much of the time a dog has a food allergy it is to a meat protein such as beef, chicken, or one of the other common meat sources. Vegetarian diets may bring these food allergic dogs relief from their skin allergies. - By Armaiti May, D.V.M, C.V.A. Read the full article here

  1. VDog kibble

Posted by Jacklyn on 7th May 2016

I wanna give a big thank you to this VDog kibble that helps my 2 doggies alot. My 2 rescues from puppy mill that I've adopted for more than 2 years have never been able to put on weight and had bad skin problems. Beside that they are always having tummy problems due to years of breeding in the farm. Health has never been better after eating VDog kibbles with some fresh fruits, vegetables and I do add some beef or duck liver for protein. As they are senior dogs it makes it even harder a challenge to care for their health but now I can really feel relieved and so glad what this kibble does. And they love it. Really happy with all the good ingredients in this food without any nasty inputs. Thank you so so much.

  2. My dog loves it, excellent replacement for Natural Balance Vegetarian Dog Food

Posted by Junjie on 24th Apr 2016

My dog's Natural Balance Vegetarian dog food was running low, so I wanted to order more. I discovered that it's now out of stock everywhere in Singapore. Luckily I found V-dog. I was worried if my dog would take to it, but turns out I had nothing to worry about. She loves it. In fact, she's leaving behind the Natural Balance kibbles while she finishes the V-dog kibbles.

  3. V Dog Rocks!

Posted by Michelle on 23rd Oct 2014

My two shih tzus Liit and Cholo were transitioned to V Dog a month ago. I had to tell the nanny to introduce V Dog to them by giving them half of the food they were used to and half V Dog until they are able to totally transition to it. Lo and behold, every time they were given half and half, they finish what is left of V Dog and had left overs of the previous dog food. Hurray! They are now officially Vegan Dogs, just like their mommy :-)

  4. Excellent product.

Took a sample from one of the roadshows and Boston took a liking to the kibbles almost instantly, which was rare.

Kibbles are on the chunkier side which is great for my 38kg+ pup. It's all vegan but protein is still high and we mix it with Orijen once in a while.

All in all, it's v good, other than the 100% compostable packaging, it will tear if you don't handle it carefully (but really, it's no big deal).
