1. What is the difference between Basic Grooming and Full Grooming for dogs?

Basic grooming includes nail clipping and filing, ears cleaning, shaving of underpaw, belly & sanitary area hair, bath & blow dry and combing session. Full grooming includes all services stated in Basic grooming with an additional fur-styling.

2. Why are your grooming rates relatively higher than other pet shops?

Our pet grooming rates are priced higher than other pet grooming establishments as our service is a very personalised and customised one. We take limited appointments each day such that we can provide each and every pet undivided attention throughout the entire grooming session. Our studio is cage-free, fully air-conditioned with glass panels. The grooming products we use are carefully chosen made from natural and gentle ingredients.

5. We live in a small apartment/HDB, can you perform grooming here?

70% of our house call clientele stay in apartments and yes we definitely can perform grooming as long as there is enough space for our groomer to set up a grooming table and move around the table.

6. For house call grooming where do/can you bathe our pets?

Our groomer bathes your pet where you bathe your pet at home. We want to minimise changes to reduce stress on your pet.

7. What shampoo/conditioner do you use?

Our groomer uses a range of natural pet shampoo and conditioner according to your pets skin condition. All our grooming products are gentle on even pets with the most sensitive skin.

8. Any additional charges for using your range of natural grooming products?

Absolutely no.

9. How frequently should I schedule my pet for grooming?

For dogs: Our groomer recommends at least once a month for basic grooming and 6-8 weeks between full grooming sessions.

For cats: Our groomer recommends at least once every 6 weeks for a bath.

10. My pet is aggressive. Can you handle aggressive dogs or cats?

We can and have successfully groomed many aggressive dogs and cats. However, we require that you will be able to at least pick up your own pet and in worst case scenarios, be able to put on the muzzle for your pet before our groomer can attempt to groom your pet.

11. My pet is sick/old and is unable to stand for prolonged periods. Are you able to groom my pet?

Definitely! In fact, one of the benefits of our house-call grooming services is that it allows pets who otherwise can not leave home be groomed at the comfort of their own home. Kindly inform us in advance if your pets are unable to stand or require special care so that we can cater additional time for him or her. 

12. My dog has sensitive skin and I’m quite concerned about the cleanliness of the grooming tools. Are your grooming tools sterile?

Our groomer sterilises his tools between every session and every pet with a special disinfectant spray. Our tools and table are also wiped down between sessions with a disinfectant solution. Tools are sterilised in a UV steriliser on a daily basis. You can have a peace of mind that we do not use dirty tools on your beloved pet!

13. How long in advance should I book an appointment?

You should book the grooming appointment at least a month in advance.

15. Why do you carry limited products compared to most pet stores in the market?

At Bubbly Petz, we are committed to conscious consumerism and only carry products that are eco-friendly, cruelty-free and free of animal ingredients. We make sure that our retail products are safe and effective and are what we would use on our own pets. You will never find anything that compromises the well-being of our animal friends such as chemical-loaded products, cages, water bottles, electric collars and items that promote negative reinforcement.  While our range of products is limited, you can be sure that our products are selected with our pets’ health and well-being in mind and at the same time, doing our part for the environment, animals and communities.

16. Are your pet grooming products cruelty-free?

The pet grooming products we have on sale on our web store and used for our grooming are certified cruelty-free by Cruelty Free International and/or Beauty Without Bunnies.

17. Are all your products free of animal ingredients?

We have checked against each ingredient in every product to ensure that they are from plant. For pet accessories, we also ensure that none are made from leather, wool, feathers and any other animal by-products. All products are free of animal ingredients to the best of our knowledge. If you realise anything on our store that happens to contain animal products, do contact us immediately.

18. How much do I need to purchase to be entitled Free Delivery?

You will be entitled to Free Shipping with a minimum purchase of $100. For orders less than $100, a flat rate delivery charge of $15 applies.

19. What are the accepted payment modes for online purchases?

We accept all major Credit Cards, Paypal, Bank Transfer (OCBC/POSB/DBS), Cash on Delivery and Cheque for Singapore orders. Please note that for small items eligible for Free Shipping, your orders will only be mailed out once payment has been made. 

20. Which day and time can I expect my items to be delivered to me?

Delivery will be made within 3 business days between 9am-10pm. We will contact you to arrange for a delivery date and time after the order is made and confirmed.

21.Can I self-collect my purchases?

Yes, you can. Self-collection will be at 266 Joo Chiat Road, Singapore 427520 during operating hours.

22. Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do ship internationally. Please email us at info@bubbly-petz.com with the item of your interest and we will get back to you on the total bill inclusive of international shipping and the mode of payment.

23. What is your exchange/return policy

We only accept exchanges due to manufacturing defects. Item(s) must be returned within 7 days of purchase in its original packaging and condition (unused and unsoiled). Please provide the original invoice as proof of purchase from www.bubbly-petz.com
